Climbin' to the Canyon

More than 20 years after the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway discontinued regular passenger service to the Grand Canyon steam power returned to the line. Former Lake Superior & Ishpeming 2-8-0 18 is the motive power and she puts on quite a show with her consist of former Southern Pacific Pullman green Harriman coaches.

Cold temperatures and lots of snow make for some absolutely stunning images, in the high country around the Grand Canyon.
